Rotterdam-based Salsa collective La Reunión consists of 7 musicians from all over the world with very different musical backgrounds. Music made them travel to the multi-cultural city of Rotterdam, and they got together thanks to their common passion for Afro Cuban music.

They play Salsa in a very innovative setting: a classic salsa band with a viola and a flute instead of horns. With their original arrangements, they blend the sound of the viola and the flute within the rhythm section, which creates the very characteristic sound of La Reunión.
