World Sessions: a series of ten unique concerts exploring different World Music genres.

Each session, we pair young talent and well-known names from the scene, challenging them to create a special performance for the evening. This time, a line-up of talented musicians will present the repertoire of the most iconic band of the Afro-Cuban jazz with a Irakere super jam. Following the concert, there will be a jam session providing other musicians the opportunity to showcase their skills on stage and network in the World Music scene.

World Sessions is led by Daan Arets and organized by Stichting GloMAD with support from New Grounds, Gemeente Rotterdam, Stichting Volkskracht and Popunie.
