After winning the 2nd Prize at the Franco Ambrosetti Jazz Award in the summer of 2022, Tangent Quartet are releasing their debut album “Schema” on the 3rd of December at New Grounds in Rotterdam.

The album is a culmination of the jazz and heavy music background of the band leader Yiannis Vagianos. It is a combination of contemporary compositions and jazz – oriented improvisation. The compositions are thematic, using personal stories and the underlying socio political reality as their raw material.
