8080 (pronounce and read: “BOBO”) is an improvising jazz rock trio from Rotterdam, consisting of Yuri Rhodenborgh on guitar, Daan Leever on bass/ modular and Bouke Hofma on drums.

With a firm love for underground jazz rock, 8080 finds its way somewhere between the dreamlike and riff-based violence. The inspiration: from Ambient to Wayne Krantz and from Anime to Zappa. The ambition: fresh jazz rock music for every ear type, from the heart, not the mind. Debut album “wherewerewe” was released in 2023, which was celebrated by (a.o) premier dutch jazz magazine Jazzism.
