Sirocco, a young and vibrant Afro Beat band based in Rotterdam, is excited to announce their debut live performance! The 10-piece band is led by tenor saxophonist Max van Houtum and composer/arranger Ko Kunst and boasts a large wind section. The music draws inspiration from Afrobeat, funk, and jazz.

Sirocco’s music is a unique blend of various genres that transcends borders and cultures. The band’s musicians come from all around Europe, bringing their diverse backgrounds and influences to create an innovative and captivating sound: they’re thrilled to present a night of original compositions that blend diverse musical traditions and styles, burning solo’s and stanky grooves that will light up the dancefloor and get everyone moving their feet!

The band will play one set of 45 minutes, followed by an open jam session where other musicians are invited to join in on the fun. Don’t miss this chance to experience and enjoy the power and energy of Sirocco’s sound!
