This trio consists of three great women, musicians who live in the Netherlands (Rotterdam and Tilburg). They all have their own experience with Brazilian music, but this is the first time they come together as a trio!

Martie Rikhof is a fantastic singer, graduated from Codarts. Captivated by Brazilian poetry, music and dance, Martie lived and worked in Rio de Janeiro for seven years. According to the press and the public, she has made her own Brazilian culture and music in a unique way. She plays triangle, flute and sings in this project.

Elizabeth Fadel is a special Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and, in addition to being a virtuoso pianist, she also plays the accordion. Her passion for music from the North East of Brazil led her to start a new project in the Netherlands: trio forró pé-de-serra (accordion, zabumba and triangle).

Simone Soul is a famous Brazilian percussionist who lives in Tilburg, and has played with Chico Cesar, Itamar Assumpção, Badi Assad, Zelia Duncan, among others. In Forró das flores she sings and plays zabumba. Prepare yourself for a great evening with forró, coco, xaxado, baião, xote and arrasta-pé. Trio Forró das Flores was born to last.
